QR Codes

QR is short for Quick Response (they can be read quickly by a mobile phone). They are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it in to your mobile phone.

Once it is in your mobile phone the code is designed to give you information about that business or take you to the company’s website landing page. Within this landing page there is the opportunity to provide a link to a URL which you can click to see a trailer for a movie, or it could also be used to provide you a coupon which you can use in a local outlet.
The reason why they are more useful than a standard barcode is that they can store (and digitally present) much more data, including URL links, geo coordinates, and text.

The other key feature of QR Codes is that instead of requiring a large and expensive hand-held scanner to scan them, many modern mobile phones can scan them as long as they have a QR Reader downloaded to their mobile phone

How can you use QR codes to pinpoint your customer or client?

CJC media have produced various media vehicles in which QR Codes can be beneficial to target many demographics in different environments.

By adding a QR Code to our products and services this opens up a pandora's box to what information you can put in front of your client. By scanning the code it can turn a static image, a drip mat, projection, media vinyls, mirror vinyls, street stencils, or banners from a static image into a video broadcast in an instant.
